Byron Foster

Senior Vice President / President, Light Vehicle Systems

Byron Foster serves as senior vice president and president, Light Vehicle Systems, Dana’s largest business. He joined the company in 2021 as senior vice president and chief commercial, marketing, and communications officer responsible for leading and supporting all commercial opportunities globally, along with oversight responsibilities for marketing and communications. 

Byron is a veteran of the mobility industry, serving for more than two decades in senior executive commercial and operational roles at Johnson Controls, Inc., and Adient plc.  Most recently, he served as CEO of Shield T3, a Covid-19 testing company of the University of Illinois.  

He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Michigan and a Master of Business Administration degree from Northwestern University. Byron is a member of the board of directors of Wabtec Corporation, a leading global provider of equipment, systems, digital solutions, and services for the freight and transit rail industries, as well as the mining, marine, and industrial markets.
